This section will teach you how to place a bid during a sale.
Apply For Bidding
To get started we need to get approved for bidding.
Bidding Application Pending
If you're applying to bid the day of the sale, you'll want to call the number listed in the Bidding Panel to get immediate
approval. If you apply 24 hours before the sale, our approval office will contact you.

Once you have been approved to bid you must accept the terms and conditions before you start bidding.

Accept Terms and Conditions
Check the box next to 'I accept the Terms and Conditions' and click the 'Submit' button.
Placing a Bid
Sliding the Place Bid button is like raising your hand if you were attending the auction in person. The current asking price is
displayed on the bidding button.
If you place a bid the DVAuction operator will need a moment to accept your bid and get you in.
When your bid is accepted and you become the current high bidder your bid button will become disabled to prevent you from bidding
If you are outbid a notice will flash across the auction ring stating you have been outbid. The bidding panel will indicate you
are now out and your bid button will activate displaying the new asking price.
Sold to Another Bidder
If you do not purchase the lot you will see your bidding panel indicate when another bidder purchases the lot.
If you purchase a lot 'You won this lot' will flash across the auction ring and the bidding panel will indicate you purchased the
Purchase Confirmation Alert
If you receive a new message the messenger icon will turn yellow. In this case, the operator sent you a message confirming your
purchase. Lets take a look.
As soon as the operator assigns you as the buyer of a lot you will receive a message in the messenger indicating the lot number
and purchase price. If sale management is using Buyer Numbers to track purchases our operator will automatically assign this number for you.
Not all sales use Buyer Numbers to track purchases.
Selling Multiple or Choice Lots
Occasionally an auction will sell multiple lots or a choice of lots.
You Purchased a Multiple or Choice Lot
If you win one of these lots you must select which lot(s) you would like to purchase.
Multiple and Choice Lots
Select which lot(s) you wish to purchase by tapping them and then submit your choice.
New Message Alert
The operator will send you a message to confirm your purchase.
Multiple and Choice Lots Confirmation
Make sure to follow along closely with the auctioneer for details if the lots are selling all-to-go, choice, or on a per lot
