Apply to Bid

There are several ways to apply for bidding. On the homepage, there will be a button for each upcoming event. There is also a 'Apply for Bidding' link available while viewing a sale.

Maximum Bid

The maximum bid is the maximum amount a bidder is willing to pay for a lot. If two maximum bids of the same amount are placed for the same lot, the bid that was placed first will be accepted. If you have been outbid, you will receive an email and/or text informing you that you have been outbid. Your maximum bid can be raised at any time.

Extension Time

If enabled, this is the amount of time after the last bid is placed before a lot will close (5 minute extensions). (Example: End time is 6:00 PM. A bid is placed at 5:58 PM, which causes the end time to extend to 6:03 PM. Another bid is placed at 6:01 PM, which causes the end time to extend to 6:06 PM. This will continue indefinitely until no bids have been placed for 5 minutes).
