NATIONAL CATTLE TRACKER: The largest steer and heifer string sold so far in 2022 was 726 steers (1018#) from Lexington, Nebraska at $169.25. There have been 79 strings sold so far this year that were 300 head or larger (U.S. CATTLE REPORT)
SIOUX FALLS REGIONAL (WORTHING, SD): The largest string sold at Sioux Falls so far in 2022 was 578 steers (1154#) at $155.75 on August 1st (6th largest in the U.S. so far in 2022). There have been 132 sales at Sioux Falls so far in 2022 that were 100 head or larger (WATCH LIVE)
CORN MARKETS: March corn made another new low for the move overnight. Traders are still concerned about the lack of export sales and the potential for a negative supply and demand report on Friday (Schwieterman)

The largest steer string sold on Tuesday was 280 steers (824#) from Kimball, South Dakota at $192.75. The average price for the top 10 steer strings sold on Tuesday was $184.90, compared to $180.75 on Monday
U.S. CATTLE REPORT: Strong cash feeder market despite futures; 80 steers (717#) from Salina, Kansas at $208.60 (best steer sale in KS so far in 2022); Choice down $12 since last Tuesday; Crude down $18 from 30-day high
