U.S. CATTLE REPORT: 140 steers (711#) from Lexington, Kentucky at $184.70; Wheat down $1.21 since June 29th; Crude drops under $100; Pork cutout highest since June 17th

NATIONAL STEER TRACKER: The largest steer string sold on Tuesday on the National Steer Tracker (700-899#) was 230 steers (870#) from West Plains, Missouri at $167.75. The average price for the top 10 steer strings sold on Tuesday was $165.03

NATIONAL CATTLE TRACKER: The largest steer and heifer string sold on Tuesday was 312 steers (920#) from West Plains, Missouri at $164.25. The second largest string was 230 steers (870#) from West Plains, Missouri at $167.75

CME LIVESTOCK: Live Cattle: $132.925 (-1.675); Feeder Cattle: $172.70 (-1.80); Hogs: $105.95 (+2.975); Milk: $21.70 (-0.72) (Confirmed cash trade for the week was mostly $137 in the South and $148 in the North)

Red... Since Friday’s rally saw a monster drop of +5k contracts in August, it’s obvious a lot of short covering and some roll were responsible. August is discount to cash and June expired +$4 to August (The Beef)
